The NEW Gen5 Aeon Labs Multi Sensor is a battery-powered, all-in-one Z-Wave motion sensor, temperature sensor, humidity and lighting sensor. When the sensor detects IR changes in front of its viewing window, it will send radio signals to up to six associated Z-Wave devices within its own Z-Wave network. The sensor can report current temperature and lighting levels in the immediate vicinity. Indoor/Outdoor functioning tolerances allow the sensor to function under weatherized conditions. Various sensitivity levels can be configured to avoid unintentional triggering from small animals such as cats and small dogs. The sensor comes with back-plate mounting to mount flat against walls and swivel arm mount to mount on walls. FEATURES: Low battery detection. Firmware OTA updateable. Latest Z-Wave protocol and commands via the new Series 500 chips, Z-Wave Plus certified. Increased range due up to 500ft Z-Wave RF range (outdoor). Ease of use and installation.
